Terms of Service

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of the I Ching Tree website, accounts, free I Ching readings, and paid Personal BaZi Reading service. I Ching Tree is operated by an independent individual business owner. In these terms, “I Ching Tree,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that operator.

By using the service, creating an account, submitting a reading request, or purchasing a Personal BaZi Reading, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Reading Boundaries. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the service. The service is not intended for children.

3. What We Provide

I Ching Tree provides:

• A limited free personal I Ching reading, prepared in response to one focused question and two numbers selected by the user.
• A paid Personal BaZi Reading, prepared individually from complete and accurate birth information and one selected focus area.

Readings are prepared by a person and delivered privately by email. They are provided for personal reflection, perspective, and general guidance. They are not software-generated reports and are not professional services.

4. Free I Ching Reading

The free reading is subject to account eligibility, daily availability, and the limits displayed when the request is submitted. Unless otherwise stated on the website, eligibility is limited to one free reading per account every 30 days.

Submitting a request does not guarantee acceptance. We may decline requests that are incomplete, abusive, outside our Reading Boundaries, or beyond current capacity. No payment is collected for a free reading.

5. Personal BaZi Reading

The paid service is a one-time, customized digital service. The current offer includes:

• A personal interpretation based on the accurate birth date, exact local birth time, and city and country of birth supplied by you.
• Coverage of personality and underlying tendencies, relationships and marriage, career and work direction, current life phase and developing trends, and supportive colors.
• Additional depth in one focus area selected by you.
• Delivery in English in the body of a private email.
• One follow-up reply for clarification, provided the clarification email is sent within seven calendar days after delivery and does not introduce a new topic.

The service does not include a public chart, technical BaZi structure, automated report, unlimited follow-up, a new topic, or guaranteed predictions.

6. Information You Must Provide

You must provide complete and accurate information, including an accurate date of birth, exact local time of birth, city and country of birth, and one main focus area. If your focus is relationships or marriage, current relationship status may also be required.

An exact birth time is required. If your birth time is unknown or uncertain, do not purchase the service. You are responsible for checking the information before submitting it. Inaccurate or incomplete information may reduce the usefulness of the reading, delay delivery, or make the request impossible to complete.

7. Price, Payment, and Creem

The Personal BaZi Reading is currently offered for US$128 as a one-time payment. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. The price shown on the website and at checkout applies to the order. Applicable VAT, sales tax, or other indirect tax, if any, is calculated and displayed at checkout.

Paid transactions are completed through Creem. Creem acts as merchant of record and contractual seller for the transaction and handles payment processing, applicable indirect taxes, invoicing, refunds, and chargebacks. By completing checkout, you also agree to the applicable Creem Buyer Terms and acknowledge Creem’s role in the transaction.

I Ching Tree remains responsible for preparing, delivering, and supporting the purchased reading. Creem does not prepare, review, or endorse the reading.

8. Starting the Personalized Service

The 24-hour cancellation period begins after both successful payment and receipt of all required, complete, and usable information. I Ching Tree does not ordinarily begin preparing the personalized reading until this cancellation period has expired. After the period expires, preparation may begin and the purchase becomes generally non-refundable, subject always to mandatory consumer law and the Refund Policy.

If an earlier start is offered and applicable law requires express consent to begin performance before a statutory withdrawal period ends, or a separate acknowledgement concerning loss of a withdrawal right, that consent or acknowledgement must be collected as required by law or through the Creem checkout process. Nothing in these terms excludes a non-waivable consumer right.

9. Delivery

The reading will normally be delivered within five business days after both successful payment and complete, usable birth information have been received. The confirmation page or email may state the latest delivery date.

Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays observed by the operator. Delivery is made to the email address associated with the order. You are responsible for providing a working email address and checking spam or filtered folders.

If information is missing or requires clarification, the delivery period begins only after the required information has been received. We will contact you using the order email where reasonably possible.

10. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy and mandatory consumer law. You may cancel for a full refund within 24 hours after both payment and all required information have been received. After this cancellation window expires, preparation may begin and the purchase is generally non-refundable except where required by law, directed by Creem, or expressly provided in the Refund Policy. We do not offer discretionary partial refunds.

Refund requests may be submitted from the paid order shown in your account. If that control is unavailable, email hello@ichingtree.com from the email address used for the purchase. We aim to respond within three business days. Approved refunds and all payment disputes are processed through Creem.

11. Accounts and Communications

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree that we may send transactional emails reasonably needed to operate the service, including verification, security, order, delivery, clarification, refund, and support messages. These are not marketing subscriptions.

12. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Break applicable law or infringe another person’s rights.
• Submit content involving abuse, exploitation, stalking, surveillance, explicit sexual content, illegal activity, self-harm instructions, or attempts to expose another person’s private behavior.
• Seek medical diagnosis, legal advice, investment instructions, gambling outcomes, emergency assistance, or guaranteed predictions through the service.
• Submit malware, interfere with the website, bypass service limits, create duplicate accounts to obtain extra free readings, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Harass the operator, support providers, or other users.
• Copy, resell, publish, scrape, or commercially exploit the service or a reading without permission.

13. Personal Reflection Only

Readings are interpretive and subjective. They are not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, investment, safety, or other professional advice. They do not diagnose conditions, verify facts about another person, predict an outcome with certainty, or replace qualified professional or emergency assistance.

You remain responsible for your decisions and should seek a qualified professional where appropriate. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than using this service.

14. No Guaranteed Outcome

We do not promise that a reading will match your expectations, produce a particular result, recover a lost item, restore a relationship, improve finances, or predict a future event. Disagreement with an interpretation does not by itself mean that the service was not delivered as described.

15. Your Submissions

You retain any rights you have in information you submit. You give I Ching Tree a limited permission to access, store, use, and reproduce that information only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and document the requested service and comply with law.

You confirm that you have the right to submit the information and that it does not unlawfully violate another person’s privacy or rights. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

16. Intellectual Property and Personal Use

The website, brand, original text, design, and service materials are owned by or licensed to I Ching Tree and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

After full payment, you may keep and use your delivered reading for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not resell it, publish it as a competing product, remove ownership notices, or claim that you created the service materials.

17. Refusal, Suspension, and Termination

We may decline a request, suspend an account, or restrict access where reasonably necessary because of incomplete or inaccurate information, violation of these terms or the Reading Boundaries, fraud, payment disputes, abuse, security risk, legal obligations, or service capacity.

You may stop using the service or request account deletion by contacting us. Account deletion does not cancel payment, refund, record-retention, fraud-prevention, or other legal obligations that already apply.

18. Availability and Changes to the Service

We may maintain, update, limit, or discontinue parts of the website or free service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. A confirmed paid order remains subject to the product description, delivery commitment, Refund Policy, and mandatory consumer rights applicable when the purchase was made.

19. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the website and readings are provided without guarantees beyond the express commitments in these terms. I Ching Tree is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from reliance on a reading or inability to access the website.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where liability may lawfully be limited, I Ching Tree’s total liability arising from a paid reading will not exceed the amount paid for that reading.

20. Governing Rules and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the individual operator, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Before beginning formal proceedings, please contact us so that we can try to resolve the issue directly. Creem’s buyer terms separately govern the Creem checkout, invoice, customer portal, and merchant-of-record transaction.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, providers, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Material changes will apply prospectively and, where required, will be communicated by additional notice.
